Before the vows are spoken and promises exchanged, there is a simple step to take care of together.

In Texas, marriage licenses are issued through a County Clerk’s office. You’ll apply together, in person, with valid identification. You do not need to be a Texas resident.

Once issued, Texas provides a short waiting period of 72 hours before the ceremony, allowing space for intentional preparation. The license then remains valid for 90 days.

On your wedding day, simply bring your license with you. Everything else will be handled with care, so you can focus on the moment that matters most.

Marriage is both a legal union and a sacred covenant — preparing well honors both.

*Fees are paid directly to the County Clerk’s office and are separate from officiant services.

After the ceremony, I complete and sign the marriage license and return it to the County Clerk’s office where it was issued. Once recorded, your marriage is officially registered.

It will then be mailed to you.
